The Conometric Connection for the Implant-Supported Fixed Prosthesis: A Narrative Review

Aim: The conometric concept was proposed as a possible connection between the abutment and prosthetic coping. This research aimed to review features clinical uses of this in an implant-supported fixed prosthesis. Methods: An electronic search conducted on online database for topic object; articles published international literature were considered gave 17 results, 6 parameters analyzed. Implant using preformed components, such hoods, helpful CAD/CAM, so digital workflow possible. Several types prosthesis presented, all which demonstrated performance follow-up observation. Conclusions: type seems be suitable support implant rehabilitations, but long-term are needed validate system.
